Oct 18, 1869 Beckenham My Dear Innes, I was writing to hear some news of you, + had thought of writing, but I got [to] [nearly] finish letters from parish people, that I [didn't] have the heart to write to my friends. There is hardly any news to tell you of you old [Parish].
