The image of neuronal cells on an insect wing was acquired by scanning electron microscopy using 2 kV and 0.2 nA. This sample collected by Jessica Fox, a professor in Department of Biology. She studies study insect sensory systems using quantitative behavioral techniques, electrophysiology, computational modeling, and high-speed videography.
