Ink on paper. verso page 1: caricature drawing top to bottom: Jan Werich (holding a hammer), Jiri Voskovec (holding a nail) and Jaroslav Jezek (holding an accordian) stand over a coffin containing Adolph Hitler and Emperor Hirohito with Benito Mussolini tumbling to the bottom of the page. Text box: "here's hoping we all hit the nail on the head in 1942 Voskovec Werich and Jezek" initialed by the artist "AH41"; recto page 2: blank, rust mark from paper clips; verso page 3: "[illegible] & family, smoking the pipe Frank has given to me before I have left for California, from which I allready got here, what's not definate anyhow, I greet you from the depth [down arrow drawn] of my heart [heart shape drawn.
