Description
  • The Case Center for Policy Studies collaborated with the Inamori International Center for Ethics and Excellence, and the Share the Vision Committee to present a forum on the question of what Barak Obama's election says about racial politics. Have we reached the point where people really are judged not by the color of their skin but by the content of their character? Considerations of both the black polical movements and the white political attitudes are made. The panel for this discussion includes Peniel Joseph (Associate Professor of Africana Studies at Brandeis University) and Martin Gilens (Associate Professor of Political Science at Princeton University) and moderated by Joe White (Director of Center of Policy Studies, Case Western Reserve University). Event held on January 21, 2009 in the Ford Auditorium, Case Western Reserve University)
